ifilm English to start airing ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’

Airing of the series, produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh and directed by Saman Moqaddam, is to be started on July 1, 2019.

In ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’, when Leila’s father passes away, he leaves her quite an inheritance, which involves a family mansion which is called Shams-ol-Emareh. But there is a condition for her to receive the mansion and that is her marriage.

That might not be a problem for most other girls, but Leila has always presented herself as an independent female with no interest in ever getting married. Now she is faced with a tough choice.

Will she forego everything she believes in so she can get the heritage, or will she stick to her guns and remain single?

Among the cast list are Hanieh Tavassoli, Roya Teimourian, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Farhad Ayish, Marjaneh Golchin, Mehraneh Mahintorabi, Amir-Hossein Rostami, Masoud Rayegan, Melika Sharifinia, Neda Maqsoudi, Soroush Sehhat, Nima Shahrokh-Shahi, Nima Banki, Ali Qorbanzadeh, Kourosh Tahami, Kamran Tafti and Amin Hayaee.

‘Shams-ol-Emareh’, produced in 2009, is to replace the series ‘Four Wheels’ to be broadcast at 20:00 GMT (00:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00 (all GMT time). ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’ comprises 49 episodes.
